This is the one piece of airsoft kit you cannot play without. A BB to an unprotected eye causes permanent damage, which is why rated eye protection is mandatory at every single site, with no exceptions. Beyond keeping you safe, good eye and face protection keeps you comfortable and fog-free so you can focus on the game instead of your gear.
We stock airsoft eye and face protection for every kind of player, from full-seal goggles by DYE to mesh masks and lower face protection from Viper and Nuprol. Whether you want maximum clarity, full-face coverage, or a lightweight mesh setup, browse the range below and protect yourself properly.

Let us be completely clear, because it matters. Airsoft BBs travel fast enough to cause serious, permanent eye injury, and every reputable site in the country requires rated eye protection to be worn at all times in the game zone. Sunglasses and fashion goggles do not count. You need protection rated to a recognised impact standard such as EN166 or ANSI Z87.1, which is designed to take a direct hit without shattering.
Every piece of eye protection we stock is built for airsoft use. If you are ever unsure whether something is suitable, ask us, but never take to the field with anything less than proper rated kit.
There are two main approaches to protecting your eyes. Full-seal goggles, like the DYE i5 and i4, form a complete seal around your eyes so no BB can sneak in from any angle, even a ricochet from below. They are the safest and most popular choice, and modern goggles use thermal or anti-fog lenses to stay clear.
Shooting glasses are lighter and cooler but only protect from the front, leaving gaps around the sides and bottom. They suit some players for fast outdoor games, but for CQB and all-round safety, a full seal is hard to beat.
Your eyes are the priority, but a BB to the teeth or lips is no fun either, so many players add lower face protection. Mesh masks like the Viper skull and mesh face masks cover the lower face and cannot fog up because air passes straight through, which is why they are so popular. Some players prefer a soft fabric or padded lower mask for comfort.
Full-face mesh options protect the whole face in one piece, which is especially worth considering for younger players and for anyone running gas guns at close range. Pair your face protection with a helmet for a complete head setup.
The single most common complaint with eye protection is fogging. Thermal or dual-pane lenses, like those on the DYE goggles, resist fog far better than single-pane lenses because they insulate against the temperature difference that causes condensation. A fan-equipped goggle, anti-fog spray, and simply choosing a well-ventilated setup all help. A fogged lens is not just annoying, it is a safety issue, so it is worth investing in protection that stays clear.
You need eye protection rated to a recognised impact standard such as EN166 or ANSI Z87.1, designed to withstand a direct BB hit without shattering. Full-seal goggles are the safest and most popular choice. Ordinary sunglasses or fashion goggles are not safe and will not be accepted at any reputable site.
Mesh lower face masks are popular and effective for protecting the mouth and teeth, and full-mesh eye protection is permitted at many sites. However, some sites do not allow mesh over the eyes because a BB can fragment and pass through, and high-power shots can damage mesh. For the eyes, sealed polycarbonate lenses are the safest option, so check your site’s rules.
Choose goggles with thermal or dual-pane lenses, which resist fog far better than single-pane ones. Anti-fog sprays, built-in fans, and good ventilation all help too. Avoid wiping the inside of an anti-fog lens, as this can remove the coating. Staying clear is a safety matter, so invest in quality protection.
It is not always mandatory, but it is strongly recommended. A BB to the lips or teeth at close range can chip a tooth or split a lip. A mesh or padded lower mask protects against this without the fogging issues of a full-face sealed mask, which is why so many players run one.
