Description

Looking for a compact M4 AEG with modern electronic controls and plenty of customisation potential? The Specna Arms SA-C12 CORE Gen.2 HAL ETU combines a lightweight polymer receiver, metal handguard and advanced HAL electronic trigger unit in a versatile carbine platform. Available from HC2 Airsoft, this rifle brings together practical handling and upgraded internal components, making it an excellent option for players who want more control over their setup.

Furthermore, the compact carbine configuration suits fast-paced CQB games while remaining versatile enough for general skirmishing. With a reinforced AETHER gearbox, Magnus TDC hop-up and ESA quick-change spring system, the SA-C12 offers plenty of features to explore straight out of the box.

HAL ETU Electronic Trigger System

One of the biggest advantages of the Specna Arms SA-C12 CORE Gen.2 HAL ETU is its programmable electronic trigger unit. Rather than relying solely on traditional mechanical trigger contacts, the HAL system gives you access to a range of electronic firing settings.

For example, supported functions include adjustable trigger sensitivity, pre-cocking, active braking and low-battery voltage alerts. In addition, you can configure firing options such as binary trigger, AUG mode, sniper delay and programmable burst firing. This flexibility lets you tailor the rifle’s behaviour to your preferences and your site’s rules.

The system also includes six pre-cocking adjustment levels and five trigger sensitivity levels. Consequently, you can fine-tune supported settings to suit your preferred trigger response. Always consult the supplied instructions before programming the ETU, and remember that individual game sites may restrict certain firing modes.

AETHER Gearbox and ESA Quick-Change Spring System

Specna Arms equips the SA-C12 with its reinforced AETHER Version 2 gearbox shell, providing a solid foundation for regular skirmishing. Inside, the rifle features an 18:1 steel gearset and 8mm bushings. Furthermore, the platform supports compatible aftermarket components, giving experienced players scope for future maintenance and upgrades.

The ESA quick-change spring system makes spring replacement more convenient because you don’t need to completely disassemble the gearbox. As a result, adjusting the rifle’s power configuration becomes easier when required. However, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and check your site’s power limits before using the rifle.

Magnus TDC Hop-Up and Precision Inner Barrel

The SA-C12 features a Magnus TDC rotary hop-up unit, designed to provide straightforward, controlled adjustment. This system works alongside a 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel and Helium hop-up bucking.

Together, these components offer a useful foundation for tuning BB flight. For the best results, use quality airsoft BBs and adjust the hop-up to suit your chosen ammunition. In addition, keep the inner barrel clean and maintain the rifle according to the manufacturer’s guidance.

Compact M4 Design and Accessory Options

The SA-C12 combines a high-density polymer receiver with a CNC aluminium handguard and alloy outer barrel components. This construction helps keep the rifle practical to handle while retaining the familiar M4/AR-15 appearance.

Moreover, the handguard features 20mm Picatinny mounting rails, giving you space for compatible accessories such as grips and lights. The top rail accommodates suitable optics, while the included flip-up sights provide an alternative aiming option.

The six-position crane stock allows you to adjust the rifle’s length to suit your stance and equipment. It also houses the battery compartment and includes QD sling sockets. Meanwhile, the 14mm CCW threaded outer barrel allows compatible tracer units and suppressors to be fitted.
