Armorer Works Custom Hi-Capa GBBP – Gold/Red AW-HX2002

Give your sidearm setup a distinctive look with the Armorer Works AW-HX2002 Custom Hi-Capa GBBP, available from HC2 Airsoft. Combining a black slide and frame with a contrasting gold outer barrel, this custom Hi-Capa stands out from more traditional all-black pistols. In addition to its eye-catching finish, the gas blowback design delivers the familiar cycling action that many airsoft players enjoy.

Built around the popular Hi-Capa platform, the AW-HX2002 suits players looking for a characterful secondary weapon. Whether you carry a pistol as a backup during CQB games or prefer a pistol-focused loadout, this model brings custom styling and practical features together.

Armorer Works AW-HX2002 Custom Hi-Capa GBBP – Custom Styling

The first thing you’ll notice about the Armorer Works AW-HX2002 Custom Hi-Capa GBBP is its contrasting colour scheme. The black slide and frame create a clean, tactical appearance, while the gold outer barrel adds a bold finishing touch. As a result, the pistol offers something different from standard black sidearms.

Furthermore, the custom slide design gives the pistol an aggressive profile. The textured grip helps you maintain a comfortable hold, while the familiar Hi-Capa layout keeps the controls recognisable for players who already use this style of pistol.

The threaded outer barrel also offers the option to fit compatible muzzle accessories. However, always check thread compatibility and the manufacturer’s guidance before choosing an accessory.

Gas Blowback Operation

The AW-HX2002 uses a gas blowback (GBB) system to cycle the slide during firing. Consequently, each shot produces the reciprocating slide movement associated with gas-powered airsoft pistols. This adds a more dynamic feel compared with a non-blowback design.

In addition, the adjustable hop-up lets you fine-tune BB flight to suit your chosen ammunition. Use suitable airsoft BBs and follow the manufacturer’s instructions when adjusting the system. Gas efficiency and performance can also vary with temperature, gas choice and maintenance, so regular care helps keep your pistol in good condition.
